Been gone for a few days...

What'd I miss?

I’m watching Star Wars (the original) with a 7 year old who only speaks German...

Very interesting to see that sense of wonder again!

I just went to Burger King and picked up a set of the Star Trek Glasses.

How long has it been since a fast food chain had some really cool collectibles for the adults? I’m SO in geek heaven at the moment.

And there is NO second blast. Greedo falls like a puppet dictator and Solo looks smug as a straight man on Broadway.

I know what I’m going to be watching in the next few days...

So I just got the original Star Wars Trilogy, special edition, on DVD at Zia for 26 bucks.

As I’m looking at the discs, it says there’s a second disk with each one, containing the “original” release of the film.

Does this mean I actually have, on DVD, a film called “Star Wars” where Solo shoots first?

You bet yer ass I’m popping it in the machine and finding out!
